Jamie Housman on Nicole Salo
“When our son, Maverick, was diagnosed with a very rare genetic syndrome, Cri Da Chat, when he was just 4 months old, we knew then that our journey with our sweet baby was going to be a bit different. Many emotions often consumed our thought; the unknown of his future. Maverick’s pediatrician explained to us he would need multiple therapies to help aide in his delayed development. Those words are worrisome to any mother, but we knew Maverick needed help. Maverick began physical therapy with Nicole shortly after he turned 6 months old. I was amazed this was even possible. He was so little, helpless, immobile, and nonverbal. When I first met Nicole, I immediately knew we were in great hands. Nicole has a calming, loving, and compassionate demeanor that allows you and your child to feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Nicole is extremely knowledgeable and will go above and beyond to learn about your child; their needs and wants. Our journey with Maverick wouldn’t be the same without Nicole. We will be forever grateful for everything Nicole has done and continues to do for our son.”

We absolutely love working with Emmy! I can't recommend her enough. One of our children was already in speech but was getting really frustrated. We switched her to Emmy and suddenly our daughter was starting to make the connection. She is warm and understanding and has some great methods that just make sense. Our little boy that has worked with Emmy usually gets scolded and misunderstood by folks. But Emmy knows how to get his attention and he has started to enjoy the challenge. She just knows how to make each individual feel valued. Not only does Emmy get to know her client but also the parents as well. She makes us feel like we are part of our child's journey and our feelings are valid. Emmy also working with our toddler who has eoe and the issues that come with it. Her understanding, knowledge, and non judgmental approach has been a breath of fresh air. Our toddler does not warm up to people easily and Emmy has been ever so patient with her. Emmy just gets it and knows how to work at our child's pace while still getting results. It feels like Emmy is part of our team not just another therapist.

"We were worried about finding a good pediatric physical therapist for our daughter, Lucy, who has cerebral palsy, when we moved to the Butte area. However, we not only found a good one, but a great one in Nicole Salo. Nicole is dedicated to staying current with research and finding the best treatment approaches for her patients. She is not only kind, understanding, and caring, but also forms strong relationships with her patients and their families. Nicole goes the extra mile in coordinating with physicians and other providers, often taking a leadership role. She also goes above and beyond in helping us identify the right medical equipment. Lucy refers to Nicole as "her Nicole," and we have the utmost respect for her. We feel fortunate that Nicole has chosen to practice in her hometown of Butte and are excited about her upcoming practice opening. Without hesitation, we highly recommend Nicole as a pediatric physical therapist."
