Nicole Salo, DPT

About Nicole:

Nicole attended Montana State University where she received a degree in Exercise Science. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at Eastern Washington University. Nicole has worked as a physical therapist in the Butte community for 12 years now with the majority of the years having specialized in pediatrics.

When not at work, Nicole loves to spend time with her three young boys, her husband, and their goldendoodle, Coco. They enjoy outdoor activities regardless of the season including skiing, sledding, camping, fishing, sporting events, etc.

About Cortney:

Hello! My name is Cortney and I am a pediatric physical therapist that enjoys working with kiddos of all ages and abilities. I love building relationships with both the littles and their families and watching them learn new skills and gain independence. My husband, son, labradoodle, and I have been living in the Butte area for almost a year now. We enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, and enjoying the great outdoors whenever we can! I am looking forward to meeting more wonderful people and getting more involved in the Butte community!

Emmy Zemke, MA, CCC-SLP

About Emmy:

Emmy received her B.S. from the University of New Mexico in Elementary Education in 2007. She worked as a teacher for several years prior to returning to the classroom herself. She brings her foundations of pedagogy to her therapy sessions and treatment plans. She graduated from Utah State University in 2017 with an M.A. in COMDDE (Communication Disorders and Deaf Education). She has worked as an SLP in private practice and in the SNF setting prior to co-founding Mountains and Milestones Therapy. She has developed a wide range of expertise in pediatric speech therapy.

Outside of work Emmy enjoys cooking, running, spending time outdoors, and traveling with her husband and goldendoodle, Teddy. She believes in the power of strong communities and is proud continue her relationship with the Butte community.

Sarah Floyd, MS, CCC-SLP

About Sarah:

Sarah attended The University of Montana for both undergraduate and graduate studies. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Sciences and Disorders, with a Minor in Human and Family Development, in 2019. After taking a year to work alongside her husband in a ministry setting, she returned to graduate school, earning her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2022. Sarah worked as an SLP in the public school system, prior to expanding her practice to Mountains & Milestones. Sarah has a wide range of experience with the pediatric population, and has a special interest in promoting neurodiversity affirming and play-based therapy practices in the state of Montana.

When not at work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and young son. She enjoys outdoor activities, such as camping and hiking, but also enjoys indoor activities such as reading epic fantasy series, baking, and watching a good movie.

  • Receiving a scholarship to complete the Meaningful Speech Course in Gestalt Language Processing
